Missions and Outreach In Lynchburg, VA
LYNCHBURG CITY CHURCH
Impacting the local and global church
Jesus commissioned His followers to make disciples of all nations. We believe this calling belongs to the whole church, not just a select few. Every believer has a role to play in making Christ known through faithful witness, prayer, service, and support of gospel ministry.
Our heart for missions flows from the good news of Jesus Christ. We want to see people hear the gospel, believe in Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, and become faithful disciples who help others follow Jesus.
Local Community Outreach
We believe gospel ministry begins with a genuine love for the people God has placed around us. As a church in Lynchburg, Virginia, we want to be faithful in serving our neighbors, building relationships, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
We desire to be a church that is actively engaged in our community, caring for people and pointing them toward the truth of God's Word. Whether through personal relationships, practical service, or sharing the gospel, we want our lives to reflect the love and grace of Christ.
Global Church Missions
God's heart for the nations is at the center of the church's mission. We desire to see the gospel proclaimed among people who have not yet heard, and we recognize the importance of supporting faithful gospel work beyond our own community.
Through prayer, financial support, and relationships with gospel-centered ministries and missionaries, we seek to participate in the work of making disciples of all nations. We want to encourage those serving on the mission field and help advance the spread of the gospel around the world.
