More than a Local Lynchburg Church Building…

Lynchburg City Church (LCC) was founded on August 25, 2013 as a Southern Baptist Church Plant meeting in the Prayer Chapel on the campus of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pastor Joe Dekreon founded LCC with TWO specific GOALSL:

-A church community that rivaled any college fraternity.

-Preaching that combined both the passion and content in an Expository fashion in order to reach a depth of understanding in God’s word that is frequently neglected in most churches today.

Acts 2:42: “they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

In August 2014, LCC began meeting for its afternoon Worship Service in the building of Marsh Memorial Church, and is still faithfully and carefully preaching God's Word every Sunday at 4:00 PM.

Come take part in our intimate biblical community by attending our Worship Service  Small Groups, Love Feast Dinners after Sunday Service, Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies, and pocket gatherings of the Church, open to children and adults of all ages!
